The Greenwood Radio Aircraft Modelers Society is a non-profit model aircraft
club formed in the early 1950’s to promote the sport and hobby of flying R/C
airplane and helicopter models.
Our flying field is located at the Ashley Airfield 3 miles east of Honea
Path, South Carolina on SR.252 and is centrally located at 20 Miles southeast of Anderson, 25 Miles south of Greenville
and 20 Miles north of Greenwood.
We are chartered by the
Academy of Model Aeronautics,
under
District-V 588 and participate in
the AMA Introductory Pilot Program
